Description: This man stands a little under 6'6" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a falchion on his belt. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy black hair. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are gray.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gerald embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Gerald was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He worked as a nervous Merchant and found it very stressful. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: She is a Courier first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). In the meantime she has taken over work as a Courier and occasionally as a mercenary.

History: She was raised in a plains tribe. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

History: Herleva was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it
