Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He now owns his own business.

History: Sarah was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She married young, but lost her spouse to dire rats. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and someone believes her a fraud
