When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Born to a Fisher, his father struggled to pay the bills. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Theodoric was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Revenge; and many dire rats want him driven away

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When Hubert reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: To be a Merchant again; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. Heather enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered south to less war torn lands. She's also a talented Spice Merchant, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To be a Spice Merchant again; and balancing her hectic life and new bellfounder responsibilities is difficult
