Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Herleva grew up listening to her father's many stories. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Herleva's homeland. Herleva decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she is unsatisfied with her job

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized brown coat. His white hair is singed and shortened. He has gray eyes and a brown hat with a tan feather.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Jocelyn was born on a far southern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Servant. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: This fat eastern man has a bulbous nose and tends to wear a red poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He has a chestnut handlebar mustache and slicked back chestnut hair. His green unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Gilbert was born the youngest of three triplets. A freak accident while working with his Stableman father left him crippled. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

Description: Her skin is bronze and flawless. She wears a tan tunic with white highlights, and long blue pants that bunch up around her shoes. She is an epitome of beauty. Her auburn hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers
