History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has achieved small success as a Assassin.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.
History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.
Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.
History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Isabella was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
Motivation: Human compassion; and she is wracked by social anxiety

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Alex grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it.
