Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gilbert fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: He got into the Cartwright business at a young age. A gifted student he started as a Ploughman, but he got bored and became a Cartwright. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Godfrey was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Spice Merchant responsibilities is difficult.
