History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has never given up on her painting dream.

Description: This exceptionally lanky man wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. He has chestnut hair. His eyes are blue and catlike.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Lance was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. A true patriot, Melissa would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. At some point she was captured by dire rats and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
