History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Unemployed who has hired her part-time. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Unemployed but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: Melissa was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Bounty Hunter. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
