She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: Jacoba is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greataxe.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

He prefers to carry a morningstar, but if one is not available he will default to his scythe. His tied-back hair is black. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines gray.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: Ernest hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Ernest alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. A gifted student he started as a Shepherd, but he got bored and became a Carter. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion
