History: Rolf hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Through the years after Rolf was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Rolf's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. At a young age his mother died while driving off some gnolls. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in quarterstaff use. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Her blue eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Tanner business.

History: She was born in the west. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: This man wears suspenders and tan workpants. His shirt is yellow, and he wears a heavy tan leather apron most of the time. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. He has shaved his head bald. His eyes are likewise blue. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and wants to raise his children well
