History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. John was born on a far eastern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Bookbinder. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He wants to get laid.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with her Ploughman father left her crippled. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
