His mother taught him the rudiments of the Sailor arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He worked as a nervous Sailor and found it very stressful. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Sailor.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. After a long history of fighting, Gerald and his spouse have recently divorced.
