Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His brown hair is cut short. His violet eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Hubert was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: A hulking woman with gigantic muscles, she tends to wear a white poncho over her likewise colored trousers and shirt. She has dyed her greying red hair a little too much giving a sharp red color. Her amber eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with her Fortune-teller mother left her crippled. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She is content.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and wants to open a new tavern
