History: Melissa was raised in a hard working conservative environment. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She tends to her Weaver job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Ella was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this western guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He bought a kukri and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Layabout and was forced into it by his family; and an old rival family wants him found
