History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Dean was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and she uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs
