History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Heather was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His head has been shaved. His fierce violet eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Ruler profession.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Roland grew up listening to his father's many stories. Roland was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Roland decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to reunite with his old friends

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She's attracted to the PC; and wants her loneliness to end

Personality: He is fixated on the number 47. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
