He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: Her divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. At a young age her father died while driving off some dire rats. Her mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in scimitar use. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
