History: Born in the south to a Painter, Matilda learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Matilda fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. The war was a terrible time for him, and Anselm does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: She tends to wear a black poncho over her likewise colored trousers and shirt. She has relatively light skin and is very physically imposing due to her abundance of muscles. She has dyed her greying red hair a little too much giving a sharp red color. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Emmeline is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was raised in a forest tribe. After coming to the age of reason, Emmeline took it upon herself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland.
