History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Katherine grew up listening to her mother's many stories. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

History: Adelard was born with his mother's beautiful face. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Adelard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She moved out north to avoid the crime she committed. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 10 years.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions.
