Description: A woman with a cold, calculating air about her, she usually wears her tan robe and has her longbow always slung over her shoulder. She wears her chestnut hair up. Her brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Elysande is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Elysande was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Ruler work with an outfit from a few towns over. Ruler work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Scribe. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.

Description: A 6'1" western woman, she wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. She has auburn hair. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Courier arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her first spouse was a Bookbinder, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.
