Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his music with anyone who is interested.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and doesn't want to be a barkeep and was forced into it by his family

Description: 5'10" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. He sports a flattop hair cut. His amber eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.

Description: This woman stands a little under 4'8" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She sports grey clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. She has shaved her head bald. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her childhood dream was to be a Beggar, but she was a colossal failure. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and further expansion of business

Description: He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his lance, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a skull on it. His chestnut hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His half smiles and amber eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: Gerald wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Assassin but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
