History: Herleva was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Geoffrey lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Marshal they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Spice Merchant, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: She was born at the edge of vast mountains. Jacoba liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. After a long history of fighting, Jacoba and her spouse have recently divorced.
