History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Katherine was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Servant work with an outfit from a few towns over. Servant work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She struck the Servant job and began her own company from there.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
