Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Reynard's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Reynard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

History: The child of a Barkeep, who enjoyed hunting, Gilbert was taken on many hunting expeditions. Gilbert abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature rapier.
