History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Simon was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying brother.

History: He was born into a rich family. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. Her childhood dream was to be a Crown-heir, but she was a colossal failure. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.
