Personality: Shane is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She now mingles about in high society.
