He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Ella abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. During her travels, Ella and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Ella discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Ella fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.
