History: He was born in the north. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He tends to his Spice Merchant job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He wants revenge against drow; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. The war was a terrible time for him, and Randal does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When Randal reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.
