History: Reynard hails from a village terrorized by giants. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mercenary hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. Some 7 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Jacoba never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

Oriel grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Oriel. She now owns her own business.
