History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A freak accident while working with his Blacksmith father left him crippled. During his travels, Rolf and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Rolf discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Rolf fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of drow once and for all.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Seamstress arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Adelard was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the drow.

Motivation: Many drow want him driven away.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Godfrey was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Carpenter. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Godfrey fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
