History: Chad was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Painter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: The child of a Hunter, who enjoyed hunting, Kody was taken on many hunting expeditions. A gifted student he started as a Hunter, but he got bored and became a Cook. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.
