History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. After a long history of fighting, Emmeline and her spouse have recently divorced.
