History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Mary is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
