History: Born in the west to a Carpenter, Simon learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Carpenter for hire.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Avelina and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and she is greedy

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Spice Merchant. He tends to his Spice Merchant job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and to be a roofer again
