History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When Jocelyn reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Avice was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Avice's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: To unite with her brother; and to find somewhere to settle down
