History: Frederick lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Ploughman hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing writing.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She has never given up on her writing dream.
