History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Tanner. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and balancing his hectic life and new tanner responsibilities is difficult

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Born in the west to a Spy, Thomas learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He worked as a nervous Spy and found it very stressful. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
