History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He got into the Miller business at a young age. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: To be a Soapmaker again; and he has decided he is irredeemable
