History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Avice was born on a far northern mountains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Glassblower. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sickle.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her parents were killed by illithids in a raid when she was still a young child. The illithids captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
