History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Mary was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Some 6 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Mary never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 37. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Born to a Tailor, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shepherd hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.
