History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
