History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Eva grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Eva. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered south to less war torn lands. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
