History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Agatha was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. In her 14th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

History: Adelard was born the youngest of three triplets. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Adelard was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After a long history of fighting, Adelard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it
