History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Geoffrey alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Geoffrey was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Jacoba was born the youngest of three triplets. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.
