Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born in the west to a Tanner, Adelard learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Detective business.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Norman was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
