History: Born in the west to a Engraver, Emma learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. Her job bores her to no end. She has decided to make it more interesting.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she desires power and/or immortality

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. While she appears to be a normal Human, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to be a mortician again

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Matilda embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Matilda grew up listening to her mother's many stories. While she appears to be a normal Human, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. After a long history of fighting, Matilda and her spouse have recently divorced.
