History: Balimaar was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Roger alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears tattered old clothes. With bright red hair and a scraggly beard. His green eyes peer out from beneath his small grey hat.

History: Wymar hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Wymar was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. Galiena is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Galiena fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.
