History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Aldous reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with her Farmer mother left her crippled. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and someone believes her a fraud
