Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She works hard and plays hard.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with singing. She constantly tries to fill her life with singing. Oriel enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A freak accident while working with his Animal Trainer father left him crippled. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
