History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Adam has worked very hard to control his curse. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When Adelaide reached her early adolescence her Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. After a long history of fighting, Adelaide and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Justin hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of drow once and for all.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he wants revenge against drow

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out
